Why is it that some people here bash other people when they claim to be Christians?

I mean I've read many answers to some questions from Christians and they act like they decide who goes to heaven and who doesn't. Some examples would be: O you're gay, alcoholic,drug addict, etc. you're going to hell.
These people can be saved from their sins. To all of you who think like this, you're whats giving Christians a bad name.

You probably wouldn't have liked Jesus neither when He called those who were buying and selling in the temple a dean of thieves.And you probably wouldn't like John the baptist neither when he referred to the Pharisees as a generation of vipers.Or the Apostle Paul, he would have been a real thorn in your flesh.These three men would really give Christianity a bad name, according to you.

dont worry about other people and what there doing. there not giving us a bad name,they are using free will in there own way. and i have only seen a handful of christians who bash other people. and why generlize? you help those people and feel good about yourself and i have read some of your answers and they arent not so good as you claim to be,but everybody defends there religion. have a nice day! hetty,age 11

The Christians are quite a hateful bunch. I've been called every name under the sun by them, and told more than once to die. Why they do it, I don't pretend to know. I think they're mentally ill.
