Something like that... said be there at 6:30, I was, then sat around for 3 hours, then she said we had to go to the grocery store. Bought food, and it she cooked real slow.. like 5 minutes to cut 1 onion. Around 11pm she served spaghetti. It was weird. Almost passed out. (This was with another married couple)

there is such element as a white lie and a organic lie. you may desire to be attentive to whilst to apply the white lie so as to no longer harm a chum yet do no longer use it all the time and tell a chum after on account which you will get caught later. that's extra effectual if it fairly comes from you rather than people approximately your lie. do in no way use organic lie just to get around a topic. Honesty remains the terrific coverage no count what and what ever is the placement. even nonetheless, all of us be attentive to that the reality hurts, nonetheless, we shouldn't do it. Regrets consistently comes on the top.

Oh my gosh that totally sucks! Don't let that happen again. If you get invited over for dinner and there is no food to eat then take your butt home and leave he or she there looking stupid and hungry just like you felt when you got there and discovered there was no food to eat and was feeling stupid and hungry.

Then invite that person over for dinner to your house... when they get there say "ooops I burned the food... let's go out for dinner."

Go to McDonalds and order your food first and pay for it... step out of line and say "what you are you getting?"

If it happened once I would chalk it up to a busy day. If it happened repeatedly,I would not accept any more invitations from that person.

When the bill arrived, you should have told her the price of her meal.
