Ok this is not meant to cause any offence, but when christians or any religious people say i talked to god , do they really talk to god ? and does he reply back to you? obviously he might not directly talk to you but do you see signs or symbols that indicate he might is sending a message. When i used to talk to god, and he never responded to me. Whats happens when u lot talk to god? i'm just really interested to know? No wise crack answers either, save your energy if your gonna do that.

If you talk to God, u must be a christian, and yes they do talk to God, they do get answers somehow,
and you must be patient when waiting for an answer, some people dont get answers for years.....
patience matters

One of the biggest reasons we talk to God is that it helps us to align to his will. When we pray we are asking for an understanding and a peace with what God is doing, we also ask that we do what God wants us to do and he may at times put things in our life to strengthen our faith. Sometimes he may intervene on our behalf in some sort of medical miracles or financial relief. This does not mean if you pray God will hand you what you want on a silver platter. If you ask for money, that don't mean you'll win the lottery. On the contrary, God may open a job opportunity for you, he may open an education opportunity for you, or he may allow you to go witthout that extra money to help you build the necesary character to handle some diffculties down the road. This is how prayer usually works. God does hear our prayers when they align with his will. He is a loving God, and though you may not see it at the time, all things work together for the good.
God Bless

The answer to that question is. Affirmative! When you talk to God, He listens to you and answers your prayer. I can personally testify you about that. He even promised that before we say a single word, He would answer us.
Interestingly, the Chinese character for the name Jesus consists of two words: "Ye" and "Su". "Ye" is written with "2 ears" side by side, one left ear, and the other one "right" ear. While the word "Su" is a combination of "fish" and "paddy/wheat stalk", in other words God's ears are always open to a sincere prayer of anyone, anytime. And He is providing us with food, symbolized by "fish" and "rice or wheat" in other words "grains" or stapple food with its accompaniments.
I can tell you many-many stories of my own experience and that of my family members and relatives and friends.
Here is a beautiful promise in the Bible for you and me:
Ask and it shall be given you; Seek and ye shall find; Knock and the door will be opened unto you. Notice the three words: Ask Seek and Knock, their initials are "ASK" Matthew 7:7. That is His promise. And He said that it would be easier for an earthly father to give stone to his son who ask for bread, or a scorpion to a child who asks for fish than God to do that absurd thing.
Well, the Bible does mention that it is not because God is hard of hearing or cruel that He doesn't hear or prayers, but it is our iniquity or sin that becomes like an insulation which prevent Him from answering our prayers, just like an insulation prevent the electrical current to reach the bulb or any electrical equipment from functioning.

I've asked several believers this in the past and what i had gathered from them is this:
1) God answers their prayers, IE something happens in the near future that appears to be solution to the problem they prayed over (coincidence imho).
2) God speaks to them through their conscience (again coincidence)
3) They feel the presence of god (placebo effect)
Everything they list can seem very real to them, however upon inquiry it seems as if it is merely a case of misconceived perception.

Friend, no one human religious or not, has a better relationship with God then you.
Please pray. He is not a fortune teller, He does not (TMHO) grant gifts to just one person. He loves us all unconditionally. Most of all He loves you, and any one whom at some point in their life has come to believe that he God does not listen.
Please talk to Him in the quietness/peaceful/private space in your soul. You will not only hear Him, you will even see Him.
However, please remember, Jesus said..."beware he has asked permission and he has received it"..and then He said "anything you ask of The Father in my name, will be given to you".....the Old Testament and rules remind us also that....................
"Don't tempt Thy Lord Thy God"
Peace to you friend, may He always guide you and protect you.

Why can't you just ask a question without the accompanying pamphlet. You want to know? Talk to God.

Eventually things will change for you if you keep talking to him. You will also get a lot of peace in your life. He never lets us down, he just does everything in his own time for his own reasons. If you keep on staying faithful he will bless your whole life and can change it in an instant.
