the bloke who suggested you see your doctor hit it on the head. I sleep all day....and then about 10 to 12 hours at night. Now that's depression....and the meds don't help but we're still looking for a reason. I spent a few nights at the sleep clinic and the results were 'sleep apnoea' so I buy a sleep machine...and a year later with no improvement I now go to bed without a mask. There are many reasons for your sleep disorder...but see a doctor first.

First check with your doctor to see if you suffer from depression, if your doc says you don't then speak your mind. Don't hold back your thoughts or emotions, express yourself. If you still can't sleep, then cleanse your soul. Still if you can't sleep, then get drunk! Good luck.
