I asked God what Fornication meant and got a different answer then the one i learned in Bible school--thats when i realized that i better ask HIm what things mean rather then a teacher--it really makes a difference

i asked Jesus his ans was "Sexual immorality" which incl. any kind of a lustful act--be it between un-marrieds or even marrieds--if u lust with your wife whom u no longer love--that is also fornication" he stretches out every defination of everything i have ever been told. -"lust is the forerunner to fornication" that is why we are instructed to "FLEE " from it--if one flees--one avoids the addiction lust carries inside of it--hidden away..it can be highly addicting and hard to quit--and destructive to the mind and body and the spirit and our relationship to GOD.--it can also destroy our fine opinion--and value that we need to have for any human being..

The word fornication comes from the Greek word "porneo", which is where we get our word pornography. Fornication is sexual intercourse between unmarried people. It can also be unnatural sex acts.

What it means to me? Will when I hear it I think of a movie called the Education of little tree where a woman sent the Church in to an uproar over FORNICATION.. and caused the best laugh of the movie.

To me fornication means to have sex with some one you are not married to.
The dection it the dicshenry is: Sexual intercourse between persons that are not married to each other.
In the book of Matthew in the bible it says that it is rong to do such things.

Originally from the Latin "fornix" ("arch" or "vault", referring to the vaulted cellars where prostitutes usually worked), fornication is simply consentual sex between people not married to each other. My etymological dictionary told me so. It doesn't mean all that much to me because I don't see the attraction.
