And i feel like if there is a somewhat cute avatar then that person will be cute.........am i weird?

I think the same as you, but I try to remember that the person probably don't look so much like their avatars, sure there would be some resemblance. Think about it logically, in the real world, not everybody is cute (so to speak), so how can it be that the whole population on Yahoo Answers are cute?
For your information though, I actually do look kind of like my avatar, just that my eyes aren't as big!

no what people choose show a little about them. I dont think looks wise it matters but personality, for sure.
