I am 23, and I have a little bit more money than most and more than what it looks, I own 3 houses and get rent from all. I met a girl, I dont want to have it want me for just the money, is it a good idea to not tell her all about it all, so she wont use me. My last gf definaly took me for the money. she said "buy me this ($400 purse) or we will break up" (many many times like that, but i usauly bought it) I didnt, and she was pissed at me, next day I told her "okay I will go buy you a new car" so we went to dealer and as she waited inside, I said be right back, I left her there. I had dealer guy give her the purse, and tell her why I did that (i kinda knew him) so I dont want to do that again, so.. what do you think

How long have you been with her? If it's a new relationship, there is no need to discuss your finances. Enjoy the relationship for what it is and get to know each other. If you feel the need to buy her gifts, go for it, but do not let anyone place demands on you.
As the relationship progresses, and if it gets serious you may want to discuss your money a little more, but otherwise, I'd leave it alone.

I'm not sure I actually believe you b/c someone with money would be more comfortable with these situations and would not just be learning how to handle the same. You may be using your cash to attract women....and may see this as a way to exercise power. No one asked you to develop relationships with women that would be of such character as to say....buy me this or else. You don't need anyone's assistance to determine what's wrong with that situation. My point is that you have created these situations yourself. I wonder how you could deal when others not knowing and/or acknowledging that you have money. You may be problem and not the women you date. Until you change how you're handling these situations....nothing will change. I suggest you be more selective with the girls you ask out and perhaps choose women on the same financial level as yourself. Could you deal with that?

Firstly I'm a woman... and I know how some women can be... they can be gold diggers. You want someone to want you for who you are... not like you for what's in your pockets. Don't tell them crap about what you have. Its really none of their business. Don't fall into the trap of buying these women lavish gifts unless you really want to buy them... not because they put pressure on you.
Think about it, how immature is for some girl to say if you don't buy me a purse I'll break up with you? That is so shallow that's its not even funny. I would have kicked her to curb so fast that she wouldn't of known what hit her.
Look, I know guys like to brag about what they have and this that another. It makes them feel like a big man to do so. However, if you are really trying to find someone that will be committed to you and not committed to the material things you have... you should keep your financial situation under wraps. Its as simple as that.

Well, look at it this way, do you think she should come out and tell you if shes really poor? You see, I don't think that is something that needs to be "discussed". Of course, someday, if you decide to get married, well, I can see that it would be appropriate then, but for now? When you just met someone? No. Another thing, you should not feel as though you are obligated to buy anything for anyone. If you hook up with someone who actually has the nerve to ask you to buy them something expensive, I would tell them the only thing you will be buying them is a one way ticket to hell.
When you hook up with someone who is decent, she will not expect you to buy her things, and you will find that you WANT to buy her gifts. Thats how it should be.

It's best to be honest with the people you care about. Telling untruths about money may lead to her doubting your word on other things. We need trust to build a successful relationship. Getting off to the right start is very important. Losing a Little money is better than losing a good friend .

It just sounds like you are terrified of repeating your last relationship. What I would do is set a reasonable "relationship" budget as you start seeing this girl. As your relationship develops (if it does), then you can spend more money on her.
As far as "telling" her about the money, if it comes up in conversation, fine. It isn't as if you are forced to spend it on someone. It is your money for God's sake.
And lastly, don't lie! That's the worst way to start any new relationship.

You've got a good point. The thing is don't lie to her. If she asks how much you make just say, money isn't everything or what does it matter. Kinda dodge the question until you really get to know her. Don't lie though, that will ruin the trust in your relationship.

you would hope that a girl will like you for who you are but sadly there are many gold diggers out there.
Perhaps keep the topic of money out of conversation with girls at first and act like an average joe. Don't go flashing the cash around. See how it goes then gradually let them know.

No-one borrowed funds from me nor will they, to that end they could't tell me something approximately their financial concern. Hate to believe the Bible yet neither a borrower nor a lender be, or somesuch. human beings do no longer understand duty at the instant and there is not any longer plenty encouragement too the two

Ever heard of the move "can't buy me love", you could also be using money as a bait...money is nthing compared to the trust and commitment that you will get, the love, the satsfaction. In that rank, it comes last.
I would to tell her, let her find out hen we are married so I dont judge her that she was after my money...
