I understand how employers make it feasible for illegals to commit their crimes~ but we should put blame on both independently of each other for the different crimes committed~ would you blame a prostitute for being raped?~ I would arrest both!!!!

Neither, they care about a job well done and dependable people that will be at work and not calling in sick while being at the movies or shopping.

As to what I have noticed, employer's worry about his/her employees legal status depends alot on race, religion, language and nature of work. A employer would deifinitely want to hire a employee belonging to same race, religion, language and so on. He wouldn't care so much about the employees legal status and if he is aware that the employee is illegal, he may even support the employee to settle in the country (work permit). The other point is nature of work. A small or medium business owner (grocery store, diner, bookshop etc) would hire an illegal employee because there are much less legal hassles involved but a big corporation would definitely make it sure that they dont hire any illegals in their staff.

It's happening, more and more employers are being fined, and in some cases, incarcerated.for chronic abuses of US labor law and having hiring practices in violation thereof.

The more US citizens that get vocal about the issue, the more pressure will be on american employers to hire american workers ONLY.
