I don't quite know if I could be considered sexually normal, but I have been married 2years and I can honestly say that the longest time I abstained from masturbating and doing sex would be sence Last year. My husbands meds have kept him from needing satisfaction and it is driving me Crazy. You see I am a sex crazed woman and it makes me depressed when my husband refuses me so I smoke Cigarettes and eat chocolate instead of masturbating. The reason for the difference is because when I was 2years old My 5year old sister and I started masturbating at the same time, now my sister is a Lesbian and ever sence I found out I have been too ashaimed of myself to masturbate. I had always thought myself to be a gay guy in a womans body, untill I found out about my sister. I love her anyway and I know I didn't make her a Lesbian but I am still so ashaimed of myself for masturbating in the same room as her.

Either option is healthy and natural.
Personally, my partner and I have sex about 4-5 times a week.. (So for the sex question, about 1-2 days)
I don't masturbate alone that much.. Maybe when he is at work and I feel a sudden urge. (Maybe once a month..)

I'm 40 & For about the past 10 years, I masturbate at least once a day & have sex about 4 times a week. (before that it was more of both)

For as long as you want to I guess. There are many ways to distract yourself when you feel like having sex and dont want to for religious reasons or other beliefs. When you do have sex or masturbate its generally because you WANT TO

One does the dishes, does the laundry, does a crossword puzzle, or does the Jitterbug.
One has a fever, has dinner, has a party, has an exam, and has sex.
