from what i've been told it's the mark on the forehead and wrist meaning think and act the way of the devil. but i also thought it had to do with a physical mark a.k.a. computer chip.

I always thought the mark of the beast is what happens when your dog plays a little rough.

it is a physical mark, no one is for sure exactly what it will say, but no one will be happy with it in the end.
Revelation 13:15-18

There is a sign which a major religion have been doing a long time ago. They use the a finger starting from the forehead down to chest then on both sides of the shoulder. Their leaders also use their fingers pointing it on people to send the message across. Oftentimes it is also the hand giving the same gestures to bless or to drive out enemies.
You can see the beast by the false teachings it has spread to the world and many have fallen victim as they worship the beast they thought to be God.

I've always thought it was a physical mark. They said it would have 666 in in so I am thinking some kind of bar-code that could be scanned or computer chip with numbers encoded. I think that it would probably be some kind high tech tracking device used in place of social security numbers, identification cards, bank cards etc. I think it would be hailed as the solution to identity theft and the replacement for paper money.

IN California as of Jan.1,all dogs will have to have a chip,or pay 500.00 fine.
They have put chips into backpacks of some students.A test,to see if able to follow.
We are very near a time when all men will require a chip to buy or sell.
Talk is it will eliminate identify theft.

No one knows for sure.
I've given an analogy and for all I know it could be the truth.
The end happens. Dr. Strangelove. The nukes are launched and God comes.
You are put through a battery of tests and the results are stamped on your head or arm. 665 or below and you are allowed to stay (in the Book of Life), 666 or higher and you are contaminated and have to go, sorry. You'll kill eveyrone else.
We don't know what it means.
It could be ALIGNING yourself with prophets. That can mean anything. The Pope, Billy Graham, Pat Robertson, Muhammad, who KNOWS.
YOu do it, you lose.
My vote is stick with God and Jesus and even then DON'T EXPECT!

The mark of the beast is on us now! Cattle ranchers have an option to mark their beast with a microchip. If a law passes to where it is no longer an option, all ranchers will have to mark their livestock.

Nope. The first part is correct. The Bible says that God's people will not be allowed to buy or sell. But that doesn't need a chip implanted in you to be possible.
