Never say yes, you may think you do and then out of left field this once very good smart child you adore is not to be found. You ask yourself over and over where did I go wrong what did I miss and then it hits you, your children are growing up and now have to make their own decisions good or bad and for them no matter how hard you try their on mistakes. As a parent you pray that their mistakes will not be earth shattering and if anything they will grow and learn from them.

I can say that yes, my 3 and 5 year old I know VERY well. My 5 year old is just like me in every way possible! Hopefully it stays that way, caue then I'll know what to expect from her! My 3 year old, yeah, I still know her pretty well too, she pretty much takes after my husband... lol HOPEFULLY she'll grow outta that one!
Now I do have a 10 year old step daughter who I can admit its half and half with her. She acts alot like her dad in alot of ways, but in other ways she doesn't. We have her 3.5 days out of every week, but its just not the same as being with them everyday and really knowing them.
And we hae one on the way that we haven't gotten the chance to get to know yet. Lol. My Football player, he's gonna be a kicker!

I'm pretty sure yes... but my son is 14 months, learning new stuff every day. And sometimes I really wish I could get in his mind to know what he is thinking about- example, last night I laid him in his crib, and was in my bed with the monitor on... and we heard him giggle! lol What was he giggling at? the fish tank? the small Christmas tree in his room? I have no idea! lol Other times are like when he's studying something really hard... I want to know everything he's thinking... but don't because he really can't tell me much yet lol

well I od know that all 3 of them have a mind of their own that goes a mile a min and it's hard to tell where they are at and they are barely 5, 3, and 19 months so I have a long time before I will know them.
Do you know your children?

Yes I know my daughter very well, she is 15 years old, still comes to me to chat, and we have a really good relationship, hopefully it will continue.
