Don't stay his friend hoping his feelings will change. You may have to distance yourself until you get your feelings under control. You will not do yourself any good if you try to push your feelings on him. There is nothing so great as a really cool man friend. Women and men are really suited for good frienships but that usually never happens until the romance thing is out of the way. Good luck!

Don't push him, or tell him that you like him. That will only drive him away.
Make him realize that you are something special and desireable. Be busy the next two or three times he calls, don't ask him out. When he sees that you are a desirable girl, he'll start to get interested.
You're already friends and you know what eachother likes, so if a relationship develops it won't be awkward at first.

Just treat him nicely and try to make him like you, but if this doesn't work after a short time (a month) look to somebody else. You can't force someone to like you.

You have to decide what's more valuable to you.. A friendship you have with him, or a relationship you could have that you know will probably come to an end, and ruin everything you have..
