1. Get your windows CD

2. make your computer boot from CD

3. after you finished waiting for everything to finish loading and pressed f8 at the agreement you will see a list of your partitions

4. press enter on your current partition with your damaged windows on it

5. do not format or delete anything

6. choose the repair install option

This will delete all you windows files and folders and install a fresh copy over it. All you data will still be there after the install is complete. If any problems occur just contact me and tell me what it is.

Hi,
Dont take tension dude, thtz nothin....
Try this soln or else reinstall windows..

First of all coz of some virus or softwares lik unlocker or any such adware, the imp files[.ini .sys etc] hv been deleted.

Get the windows cd [u dint mention which os]
insert it
go to bios [usually u got to pres f8 or del]
select boot device priority menu:
and put ur cd rom as the first device

then boot thru the cd , and repair,
if tht doesnt work reinstall windows.

=======
if u hv got imp files in ur system drive
then check out this torrent:
http://www.torrentz.com/torrent_870066.html
it is a win xp live cd, so u dont need to install windows
it runs directly from the cd

get it downloaded from ur friend

First, locate the caps lock key and press it.
Second, what is the name of the file that is missing?
You listed only the path (aka directory) to the file in question Windows is looking for.
Please be complete as possible with your questions in the future.

mmm...in yr case, there are 3 reasons- OS corrupted, error in yr hard disk or your power supply box need a change. i had the same problem like yours before. Therefore it's best to send to the pc technician to diagnose and check if there is further problem.
