Yeesh, which Christians were you talking to? Only the ones who followed Him will recognise Him and the ones who received Him as personal Saviour will know Him...anywho, we'll see how it all ends up then!
Peace to you=)

Just look at the different interpretations given to end time Bible prophecy. Some say that the rapture will happen and then the tribulation, others say that the tribulation will happen and then the rapture, others predict the rapture will happen at the mid point of the tribulation. Some believe the antichrist will come from Europe, others say the middle east, others say Bush is the antichrist. Some say the two beast in Revelation 13 are the same person in two different phases, other think one is the beast and the other is the false prophet. Some think 666 is a microchip, others say it is a mark in the hand or forehead.
With so much confusion over what is going to happen, Satan could easily mask himself as an angel of light, pretend to be Christ to the Christians, the Messiah to the Jews, Muhammad to the Muslims, Lord Krishna to the Hindus and deceive the whole world. However, when the true second coming of Christ happens, some time after Satan's deception, there will be no doubt on anyone's mind. But, by that time, it will be too late. Everyone's fate will already have been decided.

The Bible is necessarily *interpreted* by every reader, so everyone sees what they want to see, just like you.
I mean, even before you read the Bilbe, you already have your own answers - you're just looking for confirmations.
When people look for religion, they are searching for something that is already inside of them. And then... they find it - it was already there!
There's not a right or wrong way to read the Bible, truth or lies, even good and bad - this is dualism, a trick of the mind - in order to work, intelligence must separate things that don't exist separated in the real world.
What I'm saying is true because there are hundreds of christian religions that believe in different ways - I said *believe* - faith is believing in something that cannot be proven, or else it would be science.
So, any discussion on belief is a waste of time, because believing is believing - it's just your word against another.
Ultimately, it's not important what people believe, but the things they get by belonging to a group that shares the same symbols. It gives them social confort, friendship, sense of security, confidence, business partners, activities, etc.
Everything else, including Bible factual contradictions, is secondary, because rationality is secondary in every belief system.
I could spend days and days telling you about Bible/religious contradictions, but I would be just messing rationality with faith.

The anti Christ will deceive so many people because they have already rejected the truth that they heard about Jesus, so the Bible says that they will be sent strong delusion that they might believe a lie and be damned that they believed not the love of the truth to be saved. Because of this delusion they will be given up to reprobate minds, and THAT'S why it will be so easy to fool them. Every time someone hears the gospel and REJECTS it, their heart becomes just a little harder than it was before, until eventually, there's NO HOPE FOR THEM! The Bible says, (God speaking) "My spirit shall not always strive with man". There may come a day when you tell the Lord to leave you alone, that He just might decide to do that; so I'd be VERY careful what I asked for.....that's surely one thing you DON'T want from the Lord!

During the reign of the Anti-Christ, those who are left on the earth after the believers have been raptured out, will view him as god. Even the Jewish nation will view him as a savior since he will bring a false peace to the Middle East. When he breaks this treaty in the middle of the 7 years, the Jewish nation will see him for what he is. There will be persecution brought on the Jews that will be worse than ever before. At the end, Christ will appear on earth to save the Jewish remnant. Believe me, you will know it is Him, there will be no doubt. When He returns, it will be too late to follow Him. He will come to destroy the enemies of Israel and set up His millennial kingdom on earth. The anti-Christ will easily be able to deceive the nations. Think how many are deceived today through cults and false belief systems. When he makes a false peace throughout the world, it won't be hard for those on earth to follow him.

the devil is a sneaky sneaky man. Even though everyone will know...they can still be decieved. The anti-christ will be very sneaky sneaky. Thanks for making me think about it.
this may help a little:
1 John 4:3-8
3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
5 They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.
6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.
7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
KJV
basically...for the saved it will not be a problem to recognize him and follow him because we know him and his love. The rest are more apt to be decieved even when confronted with the truth because the have never known God or His love. They know the world and they cling to it, through the antichrist. People can still be saved during tribulation though. There will be saints preaching on the earth ((everyobody let me know if you disagree, this is based on just a couple minutes pondering it, lol))

The Bible also tells us that all will not come.
Unlike the angels , men have free will, most religions demand submission, Jesus says choose.
Make a decision, a bad one, accept, learn and move on..
make a good decision, rejoice, and move on,
have you noticed how long the return lines are these days.
Full of people with another chance to choose, by One who chose to forgive.

I think you missed out the part about where the Deciever will have all believe that he's truly the Savior and that his name is Legion and he shall have his days when many will follow his false preachings and die for him.
Strangely this is supposed to be the work of the False Prophet!? And strangely enough, Islam is growing and things are going quite like the predictions said they would!??
I'm really beginning to wonder, now.

I think that they will not truly know what the coming of Christ is like until they truly experience it. The anti-Christ will bring them a feeling that they might think he is it.
I do agree with you, there needs to be no attacking, if your belief is diffrent then let it be, they are not going to convert you here and being rude towards you is not going to help.

the anti Christ is the person/people that are completely against Christ but lie about it and try to get the rest of us to follow him. There are anti Christs here already that Jesus warned us about. They are people that call themselves Christians but truly aren't following Christ, they are people that have heard about Christ but freely choose not to believe He is the Messiah, they are atheists that strongly protest any and all ideas of God and are hateful to His believers, they are people of other faiths that kill Christians. We see them daily. I think the ones that are the most threatening are the ones that call themselves Christians but live in constant sin of greed, pride, cheating, homosexuality, molesting, stealing all the while they preach about Christ. They have gotten some people to listen to them, believe them and follow them but are actually leads them away from Christ.
When Jesus comes again, He will reign in glory, lights of glory will surround Him. Thunder and lightening will filll the air, He will be on the white horse. It all in the Book of Revelations. All the ends of the earth will know! There will be no doubt. The faithful will rejoice and the unfaithful will hide in fear.

Read in the King James Holy Bible *** 1st John 3 : 9 .. Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin ; for his seed remaineth in him : and he cannot sin , because he is born of God . Also , 1st John 5 : 10 ..He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself : he that believeth not , God hath made him a liar ; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son . .....* A true Christian will know the things that are of Gods` teachings , people that believe anything contrary to that are the ones that can be lured by the devil .
