my windows media player 10 is having problems and i want to switch over to the new version, 11. If i delete the old version and upgrade to 11, will i lose the songs i have in the library?

Yes and no. If you install the new version, it will give you the option to scan your computer for audio video files anyhow. I wouldn't uninstall version 10, just run version 11 run and let it do it's magic. I have 11, and had no problem. Maybe if you had some elaborate play list, I honestly don't' know, anyhow, go for it.

No, there is no need to uninstall your old version, just install windows media player 11 and it will upgrade your system quickly. All your media will stay intact with all your playlists, etc.

There is absolutely no need to uninstall WMP 10 to get the newer version. Just download WMP 11, and it will override WMP 10. All your songs and stuff will stay in tact.

No,
if upgrade ur mp10 to mp11
without deleting the mp10

if u've genuine windows installed then it doesnt matter
else, search for torrent- which have - wga check disabled

no.. u will retain all music and settings from v10 to v11.
