The XB70 was never a bomber, since it never made it out of experimental stage, just as the SR71 airframe was never used as the F12, even thought 3 YF12s were built.

You also asked what is, not what was... And no, I could not really give a scheisse about the lousy points, just trying to keep the record straight.

Is it however a beautiful aircraft, and the only remaining YF12, tail # 935 is on display at the USAF museum at Wright Patt. If you ever get the chance, go to that museum, it is awesome.

It was the fastest BOMBER in the world. It was designed for serial production as a bomber (not a 'custom' job like the YF-12 or SR-71).

Just because something wasn't used for what is was designed for doesn't mean it wasn't what it was intended to be.

The Lockheed AH-56 Cheyenne was still an attack helicopter even though it didn''t enter service.

Is the LGM-118A Peackeeper not an ICBM since it was never used?
