And a Jack Russell Rescue site on which there may be puppies or youngsters:

And a link to another breeder in IL - who, although they do not have puppies at the moment, has a friend who currently has puppies - details are on the page:

I just got a Jack Russell Terrier last Sunday. I would like to suggest you do some research on this breed. She is a delight & very loveable , but I did not know untill Thursday when I woke up & found her haveing a ceizure. I was told by my vet that this breed is common for this. It really scares me to think of what might happen with her. I fell in love with her from first glance , just as I'm sure you will with your new puppy. I wish you the best of luck. Have a safe & happy holiday season. Debra

http://www.sitraders.com/classifieds/?loc=search
first link is for rat terriers
http://www.sitraders.com/classifieds/?loc=search
this link is for Jack russel terries for mostly IL region...SI trader is where I got these links.
I have a rat terrier. and he's THE PERFECT DOG...matter of fact this is one of his baby pics in my avatar. These dogs have very very very minnimal (sp??) health problems. THEY are very healthy dogs IF bred right (like any breed) Only problem I've had with him is the spoiledness, and reverse sneezing, which can be found in any small breed.
In case you never heard of this here is a link for the reverse sneezing...it's not deadly or harmful, just scary when you first experience it....
