Jesus performed miracles on His own accord. He prayed to His Father. God is of 3 Divine Persons - Father (creator), Son (Jesus, Redeemer and Saviour) and Holy Ghost/Spirit (advocate). It was the Father that sent the Son to earth. It was the Son that sent the Holy Ghost to earth at Pentecost to be with the apostles and to stay with His followers forever.
It is somewhat hard to comprehend at first but after time you will see it. God is one God and only God. He is creator, redeemer and advocate. He has made Himself as 3 Divine Persons (Spirits) for us to be able to better understand Him, I think. The Son, Jesus, before He came to earth through Mary, was a spirit in Heaven with Father and Holy Ghost. Jesus made Himself into a human man with help of His Father. Jesus is God, that's why we say Mary of the mother of God and the mother of Jesus. They are one in the same.

Jesus was with God and the Holy Spirit in Heaven before he came to Earth. Jesus knew God and is his son and had the powers God had. It's just that while he was on Earth, he was the same as you and I. The only difference is his faith, his constant praying to the father, his understanding of how to live Holy. Because of these, he was able to perform miracles. But you can too. Jesus said "You will do greater works". Jesus is part of the God head but not God the father. Everything comes from God the father and it's impossible to get to the father without going through the son. Also, no one had access to the Holy Spirit before Jesus died. Then it became a gift that you or I can house inside our bodies.

When Jesus was on earth, he was in a physical human form. He prayed to God, His father, because when in human form, He needed God's help. When anyone sins, they are to ask forgiveness, and Jesus actually intercedes on their behalf before God. So it's still up to God, and that's why He asked God to forgive the thief, He was interceding on the thief's behalf, just as He does with us. When Jesus died and returned to heaven, He went back into His spiritual form. The Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are the 'trinity', each seperate, yet each a part of the other. Kind of like a person with multiple personalities. Each seperate, yet each a part of the other.

there's a particular warning of ones who might grant indications and miracles and then attempt to coach human beings faraway from G-d. by asserting that "no you may come to the father different than by me" Jesus violated the 1st Commandment. Judaism relatively and thoroughly rejects the choose for a mediator between guy and G-d. Jesus claimed he had to be one. for this reason his miracles refute him. And prophecy ceased whilst the prevalent public of the worldwide's Jewry left Israel approximately 350 years in the past Jesus' time, so he can no longer have been a prophet. (Malachi being the final one) The Moshiach would be regarded *whilst he has performed the activity*. whilst all the Jews have back, whilst the Temple would be rebuilt - THEN Elijah can pronounce him. till that element, any miracle worker who has no longer performed the activity and pronounces themselves the Messiah can purely be fake. every person who accomplishes the jobs may be the Moschiach. (Assuming the perfect lineage of direction)

Jesus is not God. He is the Son of God.
Nikki said: "we can't get to God (Father) except thru God the Son. they are One in Spirit." Does that make sense to you?
If Jesus is God, why go through Jesus at all. Go directly to him.
There is no scripture in the Bible that speaks of 3 "persons" making up God. Jesus called his Father the ONLY true God. At John 20:17, Jesus told Mary Magdalene that they both worshiped the same God. Jesus said to her: "I am ascending to my God and your God."

Jesus wasn't praying. He was communicating with a radio device, asking his Father to beam him down some powers from the spacecraft. The powers only last so long, so Jesus needs to 'refuel' every once in awhile.
