YES! Funny story- I went 19hrs into labor, and then had to have a c-section- I was in horrible pain because my epidural stopped working the last 4 hrs of that... anyways, these nurses came in with a razor lol, (I always shaved everything, and had the night before I was in labor)... so I didn't need shaved at all, and they came in razor and shaving cream ready to go, and was like, "OHHh I guess we don't have to do anything, sorry!" lol I was a little embarrassed because my mom was right there with me haha. So if you wish, be prepared so you don't have to have them shaving you- I thought that would be weird myself.
Goodluck and congrats :)

i don't know any reason why not. just be careful and don't cut your self and try to keep the shaving cream off any part of your vagina except your mons pubis or your may get irritated. During my first pregnancy and this one i feel like i smell down there all the time and keeping it shaved has helped me deal with that. Plus it helps your doctor not having ot burrow through a thick mat of hair to examine you! Good luck and congrats!

yeah it is ok. I was never told that I couldn't and honestly I did a couple days before I delivered my son. To me it would just seem easier then if the doctors had to do it at all. I feel more comfortable doing that then having someone else do all of that.

I guess it's ok. When you get to the point where you can't see what your doing, ask hubby/boyfriend to give you a hand. My wife asked me for help, and like the great husband I am, I did.
