Understand the concept, meaning and purport of Spirituality... thy doubts will vanish for ever!

Spirituality: what it truly means to you!

Spirituality is one word which puts a human being on the highest pedestal of life. It is field of Spirituality traveling which one reaches the last leg of cosmic life nay the form of human being himself!

The goal of Spirituality is attaining salvation moksha in Hinduism! From the beginning of the first manifestation as an amoeba to the last manifestation (the 8.4 millionth manifestation)... the goal of every life remains the same.

The phase of life as a human being announces that the life has come full circle. It is only as a human being that one can get enlightened (reach the stage of Nirvikalpa samadhi) and attain salvation moksha in Hinduism. Reaching the stage of enlightenment is the last step in the field of Spirituality.

Spirituality is living life as it was meant to be... not as we may have desired or wanted living it. Living a life of choice is not the forte of all human beings. Those on the path of pure Spirituality... the true seekers of Spirituality are sometimes able to manifest destiny by establishing absolute control over it.

It is a certain fact that only the true seekers of Spirituality become the masters of their destiny. Knowingly or unknowingly many people who have a materialistic goal in life travel the path of Spirituality and become successful in life. It was not a happening by chance... all was the result of a law which cannot err. These highly acclaimed individuals unknowingly tread the path of pure Spirituality and achieved the goal of their life.

Spirituality in other terms means that before we ask God the Almighty for material riches to be bestowed upon us... we need to compensate by giving something equivalent or more back to the community. This is the path undertaken by most successful entrepreneurs.

In terms of Spirituality we are not supposed to get anything unless we promise to do something in return... in the system of God there is fair play all throughout. As we desire... so shall be the corresponding karma we would be required to perform. Mere false promises bring us nothing. More on spirituality here- http://www.godrealized.org/Spirituality.html

I'll try my best...
let me give you a back ground first...
I have basically went to a christian church all my life (ever since I can remember), but when I went through my divorce, I was very heart broken of my husband cheating... I started praying everyday and one night while I was in bed crying (I was staying at my best friends house so I was keeping chipper till I went to bed) I told God that I can not handle this... you take care of this situation because I couldn't take it... then I felt this HUGE releif and knew I didn't have to worry about my ex hurting me and the fear of going to court was gone... my ex settled out of court and I ended up getting alimony (which another best friend is a paralegal and she said that alimony never happens to someone so young (I was 30)...plus my support for my child...

There have been several time I have experienced being connected spiritually, but this was the strongest... and this was also the first time I "gave over" the situation... I always tried to handle things myself and since this happened, I actually pray more and I am more honest in my prayers and ask for help of what should I do...

Feeling anytime I want... In my experience, when I am honest with myself and prayer, I do feel a sense of relief...like a weight being lifted... like when you were a kid and you felt like you could do anything (before reality sets in)... my divorce was three years ago and the elated feeling happens more often now when I am when I am honest in prayer and also doing things to help others... One of my best friends since grade school said she could tell a big difference in me... that I was happier, more outgoing, confident...I know that life will always throw me curve balls, but I swing that bat with a prayer and wait to see where that ball goes...

This might seem like a cheap answer, but love.

I've experienced a very intense and deep love that made me believe that a higher power existed and operated well out of my comprehension. It was bizarre because I've never believed in that being possible before.

I can't feel it any time I want. It seems to happen in unexpected moments. This is also why I don't experience it very often. The moments are usually quite intense even if they are prompted by something small. And I don't think my brain could handle more than a few moments a year.

It's kinda like feeling that everything makes sense, you can turn the page on any book and find meaning in the words on the page, there is joy in your heart and the world is an amazing place to be.
I experience it occaisionally and unfortunatly I can't feel it anytime I want.
I call it connected spiritually...but it could just as easily be described as happiness and acceptance of life as it is.

It is called the peace that surpasses understanding. A feeling of great calmness and a very deep peace. A sort of calmness and peace that if you had to go to the lions and die you would be calm in the process. I have experienced it many times. It is usually strongest when we are farthest from God because when we fist come into contact there is such a stark difference between our spirit and His. But as we grow more like him, the feeling is still there but not as intense. I can not feel it anytime that I want, it is a gift from God. One can prepare for it by going into the stillness of God's time and in silence, wait.

Indescribable.

I experience it always! I don't always feel it. It's up to God when I do or don't. When I do feel it, it's awesome! But it is alot more than a feeling. You can be spiritually connected without feeling a thing.

It is a little unexplainable and spirituality is individual. Feelings are something intangible, so to explain it in words . . . . a deep pitted gut sensation where you know you are in the presence of something greater than yourself.

I experience it often.

Anytime? I guess, more often times of prayer or danger.

The feeling I get is peace. Peace of mind. I also feel this sense of warmth from my faith. I learned that Faith is not believing God can it is knowing he will.

When I take time out to meditate or read spiritual stuff I get this feeling. I have to keep up with maintaing my spirituality, it's not something that just happens it s something that is felt when one truly takes time out to get in touch with their inner self.

When you have a true relationship with God the feeling is called"peace" Sounds corny but it's true, no matter what is going on in your life if you have a relationship with God, He instills this peace in you that nobody can take from you.

I call it denial, or blanking out the mind, something like death I imagine. Alcohol and drugs help a lot, but so does chanting, prayer, and physically attacking people.
