I contemplate for an hour in the morning when I first awaken, another hour at night before I go to sleep .... and any time during the day in between the times I must give my attention to mundane things.

perhaps 15 or 20 minutes? i'm not authentic vast into styling my hair. I go away it down, or positioned it in a ponytail...till this is a fancy occasion, then it generally takes approximately an hour. It takes longer to pin down all the stray hairs, than it does to truly do the styling... :)
