does anyone no how much hair u have to cut off for locks of love?

I did this myself a year ago. The requirements are that your hair be in a pony tail, natural color (they do not accept hair that has been colored) and healthy when it is cut. There is a form that is used that gets sent in, with the hair that's still tied in the pony tail.When the pony tail is measured it must be a minI'mum of 10 inches or they cannot use it to make a wig.If im not mistaken not all salons are eligible and only a salon can send in the hair( don't, cut your hair on your own, they won't take it) Its a great thing to do for people that need it, good luck to you

You have to have at least 12 inches to be able to have it cut..My Mom just did it herself..they cut a total of 16 inches off her hair...leaving her with 8 inches of hair..
Thanks for your consideration in this charity..they helped my Daughter out when she needed it...
