No because that's immensely disrespectful.

Why stoop to their level?

The flag is a symbolic connotation, which is often political in nature. Whether one condons it or not is a different issue. Burning each other's flag isn't going to solve a problem. But aside from that, is there truly a reason why someone is burning another person's flag? What are the reasons that cause so much hatred? Rather than seeing things from one's ethnocentric perspective, try to see it from the other's perspective.

What an immigrant Iraqi told me: "It's true that what Saddam and the others did to us (killing the Kurds) were bad, but what the American government is doing to them back, isn't right either."

As the saying goes..."violence only begets violence."

Its a very powerful statement suggesting great hatred and desire for violence.
Its suggesting a desire to destroy America.
I think it is wrong.
It incites and perpetuates violence and hatred.

For those of you saying that burning a flag means nothing and doesn't matter....it does matter...it is symbolic! Its a powerful message of hatred and intent to destroy!

It's also called 'incitement' which is encouraging others to feel hatred and commit acts of violence. This is now illegal in England.

Of course human life is worth more than a flag, but I havn't seen America displaying feelings of hatred toward the nation of Iraq as a whole....just to those few evil leaders in power. This has been the most humanitarian war in history with America and Britain also supplying relief to the people of Iraq. It isn't hatred towards the entire people of Iraq although it is these innocent people who also suffer the most from war and the evil leaders who suffer least.

Yes!
I think America's should be allowed to burn them too (in protest)!

BY THE WAY, BURNING A FLAG IS THE PROPER WAY TO DISPOSE OF IT ACCORDING THE THE US FLAG CODE!!!

You can buy flags of any nation at the link below.
I haven't seen Iraqis burning flags, that is going on in Palestine, Syria, and Iran (at least on most news clips).

Besides, they are just burning flags, would you rather they burn solders. We will only make things worse by hypocritically stopping peaceful protest.

But PLEASE, burn all the International Flags you want. I feel it's your right too! I even included a link below.

Maybe they burn the flags, not because they want to burn america, but only because they don't want america in their back yard!

Going out and burning their flag just brings you down to their level.

If they want to burn the American flag who cares.

It's like them not celebrating Thanksgiving....it means nothing to them.

Buying and then burning thousands of their flags sounds childish.

I don't care if they burn American flags as long as they don't mind when I burn the Qu'ran or make silly pictures of allah or mohammed (the false prophet).
