Hard to tell really.

First the Romans messed it up. Then the Roman Church made it even worse just to suit certain ecclesiastical holidays!

First the Romans used the Julian calendar for the longest time but always RESET the BASE YEAR each time a new emperor came along. So then Pope Gregory [13th-14th cent. AD??] made a PAPAL EDICT to change it to the Gregorian calendar, which is being widely used and accepted throughout most of the World today.

The months of January through June are named after Roman gods; July and August are named after Ceasars/Emperors; September [supposed to be the 7th month: 'septo'] is the ninth month; October [supposed to be the 8th month: 'octo'] is the tenth month; November [supposed to be the 9th month: 'novo'] is the eleventh month; and December [supposed to be the 10th month: 'deca'] is the tweltfth month!

It's all convoluted among other things!

Originally there were supposed to be thirty days for each of the twelve months [30 x 12 = 360 days] and four "intercalary" days after every third month to make a total of 364 days a year. The intercalary days were positioned to announce the arrival of each new season [Spring, Summer, Autumn/Fall, and Winter] --each with 91 days-- which coincided with the agricultural processes of plowing, sowing, growing, and harvesting.

Actually, there's much more on this but that's all I recall from one of my old researches... Go and educate yourself now. Read the Book of Enoch, too.

Peace be with you.

It could be I do not know
Some say that the Revelation will be in 2007 because 7 is the number of perfection and supposedly the Julian Calendar which I think is what we use I am sure was supposedly off 30 years when translated from the Hebrew Calander so the mellenium could be at a different time

Well, there were glitches caused by all the calendar changes. For example BC, BCE and AD are not indicative of Jesus. It is said that time frame is off by 3- 8 years.

There is also fractional losses each year. Losses that "leap year" can't cover.

Our time frame is off in some things. Not in recent things. The war of 1812 was actually in 1812, but it could be off by a few hours in error today. Maybe a day give or take at the most.

Probably your teacher was referring to Dionysius Exiguus being off a few years in his calculations. Some think about 7 years. You seem to think about 20 years.

Possibly he was. And possibly not. Some think if we knew the exact date of Christ's birth, His ministry, His Death that then we will know the exact date (or at least the year) of His return.

Not so.

Remember the book that was titled "88 Reasons Why Christ Must Return in 1988". The next year the same writer had a book "89 Reasons Why Christ Must Return in 1989".

We have His own Word that He SHALL Return. ... at a time when people think not.

Undertaker needs to furnish the extra youthful abilities a push. yet while he retires he could get a minimum of 12-15 call reigns. additionally they might desire to reform the brothers of destruction and enable them to win the unified tag tities. The Undertaker is barely going after the international call because of bling bling interior the WWE Championship. He could be a WWE Champ too.
