The windows xp in my computer was installed in August 2006. I am told that i should upload the latest version of windows xp. How I can do it?

Think you have your up and down confused, but no matter. If the system was new in august 2006 you have the latest (and last }version. If your question is about windows vista, I would wait a while. I saw nothing to set the world on fire in the resource hog I tested for a while.

Right click..My Computer
select properties (system properties)
Automatic Updates tab
Click on.. Windows Update Web site.. at the bottom of box.

go to microsoft.com and search for windows update

generally xp will update itself by default so if you have a high speed connection do not worry too much about it.

Go to the microsoft website and run the check system (usually auto runs) and it can tell you the updates that you don't already have.
