Im about to buy a heavy weight treadmill and i can use it only after 7 pm (after work), so i'm worry only about my neighbors under me, so what should i do if i live in the fourth floor? (i really need this treadmill badly)

treadmills does really make noise that could be a problem between neighbors?

The first answer was great. i just want to add this. i lived on the top floor and was using a treadmill. the guy below me knocked on my door and said it was making loud noises. he was real cool about it. I got this padding you put under the treadmill. it works great and the noise is pretty much down. The guy and i agreed that if it got to be too much noise..he would tell me.

You may want to contact your neighbor downstairs and tell them about the issue. Ask them to listen when it is time to use it and tell you if will be noisy. You may want to discuss where you can place it in the apartment so at 8 or 9 o'clock its not over the babies room or something.
