I've never asked out a girl before...and this is like...killing me inside.

Of course if you've read my other question, you know what Im talking about.

But anyways, I just need some advice for asking out that special girl...advice for a guy who's asking a girl for the first time...

Here's my advice:
* Get her number first, and then ask her out to go somewhere. If you're in high school, this might not be possible, so in that case you will have to ask her to be your girlfriend in person.
* Make sure she's alone when you ask her. Her friends are probably not going to respond well to your asking her out.
* Remember, you have nothing to lose either way. If she likes you, that's good. If not, then at least you'll be able to move on to girls who might actually like you.
* Limit your time on the phone. You should not be on the phone much, because you can't see her body language and you might say stuff that you have no business saying (which will make her lose respect for you).
* Remember, you want to go out on a date at first, not be her boyfriend. Don't ask her to be your girlfriend at first, because she barely knows you. You should get to know her on dates, not by being her "friend" first.
* If you can't get her to agree to a specific time for the date (if applicable), or if she doesn't give you her phone number without any difficulty, then she probably does not like you.
* Don't do group dates, ever.
* There is practically no way to make a girl like you once she has made up her mind about you (which happens within about five minutes). If you are not attractive enough for her tastes, she will never change her mind about you. So don't get stuck on girls that don't like you.
* Also, you should not ever go back to an ex-gf. It probably will be a waste of time and energy. (This advice will probably come in handy in the future.)

Good luck!

I know it sounds cliche, but really just be yourself. I don't know about other girls, but I personally hate it when guys put on an act to impress me! So relax, and go for it, and I'm sure you'll be fine! ^_^

Good luck, and hopefully this helped.
