This cat is 6mo old. I found this cat.( when she was 3 or 4 weeks old) She was recently spayed (3 weeks ago) She has all shots and current checkup. This problem was suddenly noticed and not a slowly growing problem. The other eye is in perfect condition. I washed the eye out with saline solution and noticed bleeding from some of the blood vessles on the surface of the eye.

Well, your vet has an emergency number that is for emergencies such as this.

Eyes are not to be messed with, but they heal very fast if it has not actually punctured the eyeball so that fluid is leaking out.

Look in your yellowpages for a 24 hr vet and take her there immediately! Call your vet, their answering machine should have a number for a 24 hr vet.

There are emergency vets usually...look in www.whitepages.com to find the nearest one. I would suggest cleaning it really good and covering it until you can get her in somewhere!!! Good Luck!
