Remember your dog, and the end of december is not far so
hang in and soon you will have your pup.
thats all you can do. I know when you loose your animal it hurts
But better than a person, not to be mean . but dogs don't live that long and theres nothing we can change about it
Cheer up kido You will be loving your new pup. Look you can always get a puppy but not so for Paren'ts and friends if they die
So thats growing up

I cried a lot. I was a mess. But you can simple tell yrself over and over again- that the dog was very sick and it was better to end his suffering. He's playing with other dogs in a wide open dog park, without any leashes or collars. There's plenty of shady spots to rest. Think about the future! What kind of dog will it be? What type of behavior does that breed have? how do I groom that dog? Is it a people-dog or dog-dog?

Some humane organizations off grief counseling for pet owners. You might want to check the humane society or spca in your area or the national centers. If you are in need of a "dog fix" - volunteer your time to a dog shelter. They need social attention for their well-being.
I would personally take more time before adding a new dog.

I know what you're going through sweety. I'm so sorry you lost your best friend. While you're waiting for that new little bundle of joy, console yourself by buying some things for the new puppy. Maybe make a photo scrapbook of your late friend to remember forever. That should help you through it. I really hope you feel better soon! Enjoy your new friend!

I don't know how long it's been since you lost your dog, but it's normal to feel sad. We love our pets. Real love. And so we mourn when they die. It just takes time to get over it. Let yourself be sad. It probably won't ever go completely away -- I still really miss my dog Connor that died in 2001 -- but it gets easier.
Sorry for your loss and best wishes for you with your new pup.

My first and favorite dog died 14 years ago and since that time I can't have another in my house. I always compare. It's terrible i know but can't help. it's as if to lose a child. cats don't help...... It's me. It may be different with you. Hugs Irene

aww....tahts sooo sad! "i'm SORRY" *tear* jus try to pick up a new hobby or somethin. i know....it sucks! but you'll make it through. I had a dog when i was little and had to give it away cos i was alergic to it. anyways. maybe. i don't know your parents. but you could jus cry around them a lot and jus tell them how dif. things remind you of your dog. and then maybe they'll feel so bad. taht they can't see you like taht and jus go buy you a dog taht nite. jus a thought.
good luck! ~best wishes wit ur new puppy~

don't take a new dog to replace the "feeling" you have for the other one it's normal that hurts when you lose something you love and that you miss it but think of the good time's you shared
