im 5'3", about 119 pounds. i dont have much time to work out, but i run saturdays (2 miles) and sundays (1.3 miles maybe) and during the week if school isn't bad i work out on the elliptical for 40 minutes doing about 5 miles. im really bad about diet tho, i eat regular cereal for breakfast, and at lunch i usually eat a piece of fruit or two, a sandwhich, and either a fat-free pudding or 2 cookies. my mother cooks healthy lean dinners and IF i have dessert its usually a few cookies or some lowcal ice cream. i am still overweight tho. i would like to lose 10lbs ASAP, and really need to know how. time is a big issue im either at school or en route to or from school 10 hours a day. (i leave for school and comeback 10 hours later) please help, i want to lose weight.

Eat 5-7 meals each containing about the same number of calories. Look to get at least 1200 calories. Then be sure to add intervals in your cardio program. Also include resistance training in there too. But looking at your ht. and wt. your BMI is at 21, so losing 10 lbs. wouldn't be necessary and would almost put you in the unhealthy wt. (109=19 BMI-UNHEALTHY IS BELOW 18.5)

You sure sound perfect to me at 119 lbs. I wouldn't change a thing.
If you really want to see progress over time, eliminate the sugar. Stop with the cookies and post-dinner desert. Avoid any sugary drinks. No cokes, no juices, no orange juice, etc. Diet soda is okay. Coffee and tea with no-calorie sweetener (splenda) is okay. Exercise regularly with above advice and check your weight weekly. Expect to lose nice and slow.

DAMN GIRL I HAD THE SAME ****. im a guy btw. basicly u have to excercise and balance your diet. One thing to remember is that if you eat 5-6 smaller meals a day, you will keep your energy levels up. This means your motabolism is working at its peak. The best thing to do with excercise is a.mix up ur running. run at 80% ur max pace for a while then ur max pace, recover, then max pace etc etc. You should also try some weight excercise, they will get your motabolism up. i think your diet is not enough... stop eating even low fat cookies... it still have fat... here is a good diet :
breakfast : cereal or bread, milk and banana
lunch : a little rice, don't eat fats and skin of meat like chicken skin and of course fruit
dinner : just like lunch
stop having desserts... no junk foods...
and a lot more sacrifice...!
