Paul was sent to The Gentiles,
Jesus chose the right tool for the right job.
Did I mention "Jesus chose", or is it The Savior one chooses to contradict?

No, the books of the New Testament canon just complement each other. They are not at odds unless someone wants to take them out of the context. Do not forget that the people St. Paul was writing to were already catechized and baptized. He was not giving them the whole Christian teaching in the epistles; he was just emphasizing some points, giving some specific advice and so forth.
