If you really like him, hang in there. Once you open him up you may find treasure. Shy people can hold alot of good qualities in that once you find may increase your feelings even more. Obviously you see something in him. Give it some time, after all...you just met.

If you really him, you'll probably have to deal with his shyness. It doesn't just magically go away one day. You'll have to decide if you like him enough to deal with it or if his shyness is a real problem that you can't handle.
And just for your info, a lot of these people are saying being with the shy guy will go nowhere... that's not true. I'm engaged to my boyfriend of 5 years and we're just fine. And he is not shy at all!

He's probably smart for not opening his mouth. If you work with this person, try to find a way to initiate a conversation with him outside of work, rather than putting your job and his in jeopardy over some sort of petty nonsense. If not, see if there's a way to get to know him better over some sort of social gathering.

It's totally up to you. I think a lot of people get frustrated. It's called a one-sided effort and it could get on anyone's nerves. Just wait it out in silence. Maybe put your head on his shoulder or something and wait until he says something. Good luck!

don't wait for him to make the move you make the move. break the balance because if none of you don't make the move then your both going no where. at least when you make the move he will then bust out and act a little more less shy around you.

That's your answer your tired move on.
Ultimately he is not your complete type. you may like aspects about him but his shyness is bothering you.
Try to get to the root of his shyness. If u can't move on

well since he is shy then that means it is easy for you to go up to him and talk. and if you are getting tired of it then get over him and like someone else
