During the United States Civil war many Irish were immigrating to the U.S. when they landed they were given a hot meal and their citizenship papers the men were also given another paper making them privates in the Army and were sent right away to fight for their new country.
Now don't you think the feces would impact with the rotating oscilator if that was tried with the Mexicans? As primarlly whites are in control of the government we would be accused of total racism. even though it was done to whites. The Scots and Irish immigrants had it far worse the the Mexicans, and they came in as indentured servants
or with their own money and following the rules for entry.

Interesting theory there.
As for what Wally asked about how you know the Scots and Irish had it so bad just requires a little research, Irish could not get jobs and people put out signs saying that they would not hire the Irish, many Scots were sold here as indentured servants, which was very hard to get out of. This country's rail road system it was built by the Irish the Chinese, and freed Blacks.
Don't worry about the naysayers in here I don't think your comments were racist.

Most Mexican illegals would probably jump at the chance to serve in the Army--war or not. Three square meals a day and a roof over their heads and a chance for citizenship thrown in? They'd be lining up around the block in every city!

Seriously, why don't you try suggesting it as an alternative to throwing them out of the country?

The Irish weren't drafted, they were offered a chance to join. They thought it would look good for citizenship, and the South was aligned with Great Britain. They didn't mind sticking it in the eye of the Brits.

No one would be accused of racism if it was a requirement to enter the country FOR ALL COUNTRIES. If this law was only for Mexican immigrants, then of course it would be discrimination. Why are some white people like you always complaining of minorities?

You are probably right, but today is a different world. We aren't fighting a civil war, there is no draft, and we certainly have no use for an untrained conscripted military.

Today's United States military, for whatever use it is being put to, is the best trained, best dressed, probably best paid, best equipped volunteer military in the world (notice I said volunteer).

I agree. We have a lot of reverse racism in the US now days. Ignorance is a two way street. If you are passionate about this, then e-mail your opinions or questions to explicit_opinions@yahoo.com, and they might publish it.

I don't want ILLEGAL foreign nationals who have no loyalty to the U.S. to be drafted into the U.S. military.

That's just insane.

The best military is an all-voluntary military and hopefully loyal Americans will be serving in our military.

Liked the merde hitting the ventilator bit.

Caucasians will always be blamed for every thing that is wrong in the world.

The historical facts you have cited won't change this.
