because questions like this need to be asked in order to define those who doubt and those who know.

Hey, you have to give snot a fair brake. Snot actually forms a service for you. Cockroaches serve a purpose, too, but ewww, I agree, why create them? I don't tend to question God too much on things that don't make a huge difference in life. As far as snot and mucous, it takes care of a lot of crud for you, even if it isn't pretty. You wouldn't do so well in life without it.

God created everything on the earth for a reason. Just for your information snot was created to allow the drainage to run out your nose so you can breathe clearly because breathing through your nose filters the air, and Cockroaches i dont know currently but he does and that all that matters. We werent created to know everything,, he has suprises for us!!

So the White Wolf company could declare the cockroach the totem spirit of the Glasswalker werewolves.
Actually, I believe the roaches original function in nature was to eat decaying vegetation and droppings.
Mucus is rather like a lubricant in your body, like oil is in a car. It also traps foreign substances such as dander and pollen.
And there's no proof it was God who made either one.

Alright, this may sound odd but follow me here...cockroaches are used is science, ancient potions, and whatever we can find to use them for in the future...frogs eat flies, flies are food for frogs...get the point...all creatures are used in nature or in some way

And thy Lord revealed to the bee : 'Make thou houses in the hills and in the trees and in the trellises which they build
There is not an animal that crawls in the earth, nor a bird that flies on its two wings, but they are communities like you. We have left out nothing in the Book. Then to their Lord shall they all be gathered together

If he didn't what breakdown in evolution stopped them from evolving?
No really, as you so eloquently put it . . . . . .snot . . . . well it has a very good purpose and your body thanks it all the times it saved a germ from making you sick. Or when it makes a lot b/c you are sick and pushes the germs out.
Nasty things? I don't care for spiders but they have a good purpose.

EVERYTHING CREATED BY GOD HAS A PURPOSE.
ITS ALL PART OF THE ORDER OF LIFE ON EARTH SOME OF THE NASTIEST OF THINGS ARE ALSO VERY HELPFUL
TAKE MAGGOTS FOR INSTANCE,
WHEN ALL ELSE HAS FAILED MAGGOTS WILL GLADLY EAT OR THE ROTTEN TISSUE OFF OF A GANGRENOUS WOUND AND LEAVE IT TO HEAL BEAUTIFULLY.
ITS A BALANCE.
