there is an encrypited message which you may or may not be ready to grasp, and sometimes a teacher can help, with clues but then there is the litteral message which can be enjoyed as well. Alice is very like other great writtings.. When you understand the encrypted message then it all falls into place.
If the encypted deciphering done is inaccurate it will be fragmented and leave much not understood.. If the shoe fits wear it. If not you must decide believe any until it all fits.

When I read Alice in Wonderland I marvel at how the author chose to hint at realities of his time through delightful allegories. Of course, in order to understand what realities are behind what, I have to read lots of history books or at least the comments of other people who investigated this issue before me.
When I read the Bible, I marvel at how there have been people who are able to see into another realm, beyond our everyday physical reality. Since I don't have the direct experience of this reality, when I'm confused about the reading, I go to comments of other people: the Fathers of the Church. They are the voice of the Church, and express in writing the correct interpretation of Scriptures, as taught by the Church. Some of them were indeed directly aware about this spiritual realm through their own experience, and others earned this title by correctly handing down the correct teaching.

It was Lewis Carroll who wrote Alice in Wonderland who admonished us all to believe 5 impossible things before breakfast.

"Humanists are quite expert in marginalizing Christians and turning Christianity into the boogie man which is responsible for all the world's ills, or so you imagine. Consider all of the horrors inflicted in the modern world by Communism and Fascism, for they are truly yours, this is what you are capable of when people (like Christians) get in the way of your pet little political agenda's. You don't like this thought I would suppose, but it can be well documented, why don't you go look and see. One writer justly calls you "the Coercive Utopians." What are you willing to do to achieve your dreams?"
Read more at the link below from "Open Letter to Freethinkers" (an epistle to the Humanist)
How the demonization of Christianity goes against the very tenets of Humanism and a civilized society. (BTW, letter written BY a Humanist Ph.D.)

I get the question here.... It's the same if someone reads the Bible and then decides what to believe and what not to. You cant have it both ways, Believe the whole thing, That we all have sinned and fallen shot of God's glory, so turn to Him and believe in Him! :-)

Pretty much all of it. Just like when you watch the Wizard of Oz. It is fantasy for children...or inspiration for mushroom trips.
