It wasn't the Jews in general that crossed Jesus. It was the leaders of the Jewish religous sects that had deviated from the bible teachings and were afraid of losing their positions of power and authority. Much the same as the leaders of modern religious sects that reject the plainly stated facts of the bible and teach their own BS as doctrine. ( and the people eat it up)

The Jews DID NOT kill Jesus; The Romans did.
Pope John Paul II acknowledged that when he apologized to the Jewish people publicly in 2002.
It is interesting how Muslims keep bringing this up in order to entice anti-semitism among Christians....
