I believe in one God, but recognize different manifestations and expressions of various aspects of God. None of these should be "worshipped" to make an idol. But there is nothing wrong with having healthy respect for God's wisdom (as in Buddhism), God's creation as the source of life (as in pagan or earth-based cultures), God's love (as in Christianity), God's mercy (as in Islam), and God's truth or the common good (as in atheist/agnostic or other secular nonreligious philosophies).
I believe the real truth encompasses all these different approaches to understanding God's nature and ideal design for creation. Any one view or religion may reveal part of the greater truth, but it would take assimilating all the knowledge from all religions, science, and history, across all time, nations and cultures, to put together the big picture. Even that could not contain all of God's truth, which exceeds our limited human capacity, but that is the most that we could know of God.
There does not have to be conflict or controversy. As long as no one makes an idol of their view of God, there can be mutual understanding that respects different approaches. As more people realize the wealth of knowledge gained by sharing different perspectives, there is no longer any need to compete or discredit which merely hinders the process of establishing common truth.

As far as I can tell everybody that believes in God believes in multiple Gods, or a God with multiple personality disorder. At the end of the religious day even those religions that claim to be monotheistic worship multiple Deities with a whole shopping basket of saints, prophets, angels, rites and rituals, relics, statuary, and sacred this or holy that. Religion is about the same as it always was, only the names, nationalities and genders have been changed to suit the divinely inspired visions of, whoever?

I believe that there were other deity's created by God in order to maintain balance between right and wrong, good and evil. That would be the reason why other gods/goddesses are either bad or good depending on who they are. I think that upon creation they were not intended to be gods but were worshipped as such regardless of there purpose. In theory light cannot exist without darkness right? So who's to say that the same does'nt apply to every opposite? In order to keep the balance between to opposites you must have equal quantities of each. Thus, the deity's that are reffered to as Gods.

I think religion has sort of developed to monotheism when people realize that the universe is not big enough for more than one god.
Can two omnipotent, omniscient, all powerful beings exist? What happens when one fights the other?

There are many gods but only one true God, the creator of all things.
Satan is spoken of in the Bible as being the 'god of this system of things' . Others are spoken of also. The Baal of Peor and other Baal's. However there is only one God who is deserving of worship.

Hmmm, well I believe that all gods are one god and all goddesses are one goddess. I have heavenly parents.....Mother and Father. Not some angry single parent bent on punishing us out of lonliness and sheer boredom. I believe that the different "gods" that humans perceive are just different aspects of Father god and likewise with the Mother Goddess.
If we are a mirror of the creators, and everything on the planet is male and female....even the plants...does it not stand to reason that we have a heavenly Mother too? It does for me. Sometimes only a Mother's love will do you know?

I believe in one "Highest Power".
I consider the possibility that a dual Deity is possible as in "Father Spirit" and "Mother Earth".
It is possible to consider our planet as a life giving source that deserves our full attention.
Although I still tend to revert to the concept that one created the other.
