I have a friend who's boyfriends parents still see his ex's daughter regularly even though he cut contact because the ex used the little girl as a pawn.My friend has a daughter too and is upset that his parents pay the ex's little girl the same attention.should she be upset?

I do leave it alone, but I listen to my friend who doesnt understand why they would still keep contact with one of his ex's kids when he doesn't.(He's not a bad person)I was just asking so maybe I could get an idea how to make my friend feel better.I am not involving myself in any way.

No i wouldn't be upset. They are obviously mature enough to realize that you can't just dump the child because the parents didn't work out. Now I wold be upset if i had a child and they ignored it while spending time with the other child.

The relationship his parents have with the ex is between them and it's perfectly OK.

Your friend is entitled to be upset if she is upset but it's still not a reason to control other peoples relationships.

If they are nice to her, what is the harm?Sounds as if the little kid already has enough trouble with that mother.
