Is it possible for others to truly like you if you don't truly like yourself?

I like myself I think it is possible but hard for other to like you if you don't like your self

yes, because all they have to do is be a good person. They like you because they are decent. It does not matter what you think about yourself. Some people like asshole's like Deon Sanders and some people like nice guys like Justin Timberlake. But you also will find people feel the exact opposite. That is just like asking if you have friends. Just because your a friend does not mean that person is friend. You can have a lot of millions of friends, it just means that your are nice to a million people but I bet all million don't treat you the same. So do see what I am saying.

Yeah, it's probably possible, for example: people admire you because you're a hot celebrity, but quite frankly you're sick of living a celebrity life, and you hate youserlf for the things you do and have done, to sum it up, people like you, but you hate yourself.

Yeah I like myself.
Sure, others can like you even if you don't have much self-respect, but life isn't worth much if you don't like yourself. You are the only person that you are going to live with for your entire life.

Initially, yes, it is, however how long they will like you for is a different question entirely. If you really don't like yourself then make some changes in your life

well, if you love yourself people could hate you for that so i guess it can go the other way too. or people could just like you in spite of the fact you hate yourself...hmmmm hard to say for sure. but answer is still yes.

Well, I think if you don't like yourself, it would be hard for others to like you. Because if you don't like yourself, you're probably always being mean to yourself or cutting yourself down... and you're probably not too much fun to be around. Unless you're good at pretending to be happy with yourself...

That's a tough one. I might like a person who didn't like him/herself but I probably would avoid getting too close to that person. I used to dislike myself and made a number of really bad choices - nothing illegal, just really dumb choices. Ultimately, I think a lot of people just felt sorry for me.

Becuase i have a few thing i dont like about myself. But others truely like me and my personality and thats what i love.
