i have regular anxiety and it has shown up in my driving. i do not have my license right now but have made an appointment to take my driving test. i have failed it twice and don't know if i want to go through failing it again. whenever i drive, i get anxious im going to do something wrong. the funny thing is i have driven in the bay area before in a large suv. im afraid even if i did get my license i couldnt drive alone because i would have no one to ask what to do to make sure. i need to drive. i need to get my license. im in therapy and all that so im wondering will that help with my anxiety? if not what else should i do?

Make sure you get insurance on your car/truck. Knowing that will take alot off of you. If you mess up, so what, your covered.

Yes the Therapy should help you, there's actually such thing as a driving phobia. I suffer from that and therapy didn't do anything for me. It started after a bad accident. But you're young and you might tell your Therapist about it, if you haven't already and maybe he can suggest something or give you some hints.
Before you take the next test, practice for a week deep breathing exercises, lay flat and breathe in deeply and slowly and hold for a few seconds and let out slowly, Our bodiesare starving for Oxygen and it will relax you.

just relax once you pass everything will be better. If you remember the route that the test follows, then practice this route.
