Does normal human blood have any smell? If so, what smell it should be like? If not, what does it mean if the blood (fresh) give some smell?

It does have a smell..in my opinion it smells a bit metallic but maybe i am just strange. Its a smell you don't forget.

As per personal experience the sodium content of fresh blood is very noticable, i. e that of a tinny and salty smell. Dry blood however by itself really has no scent unless fermented there for a prolonged period of time. Also it depends on what amount of dry blood you are smell, there will be a PROFOUND different in scent of a drop of dried blood to a full bucket. Hope this helps

Fresh blood smells sorta like metal. Perhaps it's the iron.

I heard that blood smells like copper. I dont want to know if that is true or not though...
