I mean for ph*ksake theres no one in front of you! Why don't you just speed up or get over? Why should I have to lose time out of my day because you're a dewshbahger??? All I ask is [if traffic allows it] go faster if you drive in the left lane and if you go under the speed limit in the fast lane please give me your address so I can light your car on fire and save the rest of us some time and frustration.
"WE SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PASS YOU IN THE RIGHT HAND LANE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
I'm not a wreckless, speed crazed driver. I just want to drive at reasonable speeds in the appropriate places!

I live in washington state. Even in the carpool lane with good traffic people will drive 55-60 in a 60mph and not get out of the way when I come up doing 60-70.
Sometimes In the regular fast lane people will go even slower. You have to pass on the right because even with plenty of space over there they won't get out of your way. I wish I had a gun that would make peoples cars dissapear the next morning.

I would like to take this opportunity to remind all that the left lane is the PASSING lane. If there are vehicles coming up behind you, you are supposed to yield the lane by GETTING OUT OF THE WAY. It's the law, probably in every state in the USA.
Whether you are doing 75 in a 65 zone, or 65, or 85, if a faster vehicle is coming up behind, you are obligated both by law and driving courtesy to move right. You are not supposed to park your posterior in the left lane and cruise along refusing to yield the PASSING lane to faster traffic. So what if the guy is doing 120mph and is an ****** in a sports car or whatever. Just get over to the right - assuming you can do so safely, and let Mr Penis-head sail by. You will get home safely, and eventually Mr Penis-head will die in a fiery wreck.

Most of my day is on the road, so I agree 100%. If I'm not fast enough for who ever's coming up behind me....I move over and let them by, even if that means slowing down long enough to take a vacant spot in the right lane, then I assume my position in the left lane. What's so hard about that? There have been times I have given the quick flash of the lights to alert someone I am behind them, they acknowledge me by looking in the rear view mirror but don't move or speed up, and after a mile or so of playing that game I lay into the horn and stay on it until the stupid fu*k does move. I don't understand it....I really don't. Do people really get much out of trying to annoy others on the road? Since being on the road is part of my job, I can't afford to get a speeding ticket....my job requires a clean driving record and a ticket could cause me to be fired....so I'm not speeding when I come across these morons.
If you really want to get technical about it, the left lane is "the passing lane." You should only be in the left lane when overtaking another vehicle, then go back to the right lane. So....."technically"....slow drivers in the left lane should be ticketed.

I agree on most points but I hate when I am in the fast lane, doing the speed limit (and usually over) I am passing cars in the slow lane, some ****** comes flying up on my rear, tailgating me and doesn't give me a chance to get over in the other lane. I am NOT going to get over until I see the car in the slow lane in my side mirror, when there is at least 1 1/2-2 car lengths between us.
This happened to me and my bf's mom the other day, we were doing 75, in a 65, the other guy must have been doing 85. I was happy to see him and a state trooper having a little "chat" 10 miles down the road.

I usually try to get over to the right, so people won't have to pass me on the right, but often the placement of the car in the right lane won't allow it.

My problem with driving in the fast lane is no matter how fast i drive it will never be fast enough. I drive too fast in the slow lane but not fast enough in the fast lane. they really need a lane for the drivers whom are in the middle.

75 is too slow for the fast lane on my freeway. Where are you off to in such an all-fire hurry

I've rarely seen people go under the speed limit.
Except old people.

Oh! I know you!
You're the hot-headed, raging s.o.b. who expects to go 60 in a 45 mph zone, driving about a yard from my rear bumper to make sure I know how very much I'm inconveniencing you.
Well, guess what? I'll brake, and you can buy me a new car.

I go 65 in a 55 in the fast lane. That's fast enough. You A.H.'s who want to go faster than that are just a menace to the highways. Suck it up. Sounds like you need to take a pill.

I never do that because that is so stupid.
And yet, amazingly, I find people doing that almost everyday.
