I can only answer the first part of your question. You'll have to answer the second part of the question for yourself. There can be only one God because God by definition is the supreme being. God is being that cannot be surpassed.

This definition of God precludes polytheism or anthropromorphic concepts of God as an "old man up in the sky." A supreme being cannot be a first among equals. God is both infinite and eternal. The "old man in the sky" concept only pressupposes a superbeing, but not a supreme being. If God is the supreme being then there can only be one God, tautologically speaking.

Isaiah 43:10,11
10 “You are My witnesses,” says the Lord,
“And My servant whom I have chosen,
That you may know and believe Me,
And understand that I am He.
Before Me there was no God formed,
Nor shall there be after Me.
11 I, even I, am the Lord,
And besides Me there is no savior.

The New King James Version, (Nashville, TN: Thomas Nelson Publishers) 1998, c1982.

Isaiah 44:6-8
6 “Thus says the Lord, the King of Israel,
And his Redeemer, the Lord of hosts:
‘I am the First and I am the Last;
Besides Me there is no God.
7 And who can proclaim as I do?
Then let him declare it and set it in order for Me,
Since I appointed the ancient people.
And the things that are coming and shall come,
Let them show these to them.
8 Do not fear, nor be afraid;
Have I not told you from that time, and declared it?
You are My witnesses.
Is there a God besides Me?
Indeed there is no other Rock;
I know not one.’ ”

Jesus said there was only one God...and claimed to be that God. Many have claimed to be God (or know the true God) but only Jesus backed up his claim by rising from the dead!

No one else has a resume like that.

Yes... there is only one god and that is God Almighty!

God Almighty resides in kingdom of God (aka Baikuntha in Hinduism). This is the permanent abode of God the omniscient, God the omnipresent and God the omnipotent.

The kingdom of God is where all enlightened souls reach after gaining salvation (aka moksha in Hinduism). The kingdom of God where God resides is a one-way path. Every enlightened soul that has reached the stage of salvation (moksha) can enter the kingdom of God but vice versa is not possible.

Every soul (aka atman in Hinduism) reaches the abode of God only after gaining absolute purity... the original pristine form from where it had a started its cosmic journey of 8.4 million manifestations culminating in a travel of 96.4 million earthly years.

Every soul starts its journey after the occurrence of big bang. This cosmic journey of the soul ends the moment it reaches the kingdom of God. The journey starts with the first manifestation as an amoeba (single cell formation) and reaching the stage of a human being after having passed through 7.3 million manifestations.

In human form alone there are 1.1 million types of manifestations. Thus for a human being to reach the stage of enlightenment and finally salvation requires a maximum of 12.1 million earthly years!

One very important aspect of life is being made clear. Most human beings on Mother Earth understand that reaching heaven (aka Swarga in Hinduism) is the end goal of life. It is not so. Heaven and hell (aka Naraka in Hinduism) are intermediate stages where it resides until it gets a manifestation on Mother Earth.

No soul can ever reach the kingdom of God directly from heaven. It is only as a human being that any soul can gain liberation from the cycle of birth and death. And this becomes possible when the human being gains enlightenment and finally reaches the stage of salvation (moksha). More on god here- http://www.godrealized.com/god.html

If you are really looking for GOD Almighty., please go through the religious scriptures. GOD is exception of who, when, where, how, why, what. GOD is a feelings, a "NOOR" if yoou feel him he is inside you. He is everywhere, but if you can feel he aint no where. GOD is one and only and he is inside us.
