i have light brown/ dark blonde hair and i want it lightened.. i put some hydro peroxide on my hair and NOTHING HAPPENED.. i left it on for hours.. nothing. how does it work?

what kind of hyrogen peroxide did you use ??? if it was the kind that you use to put on a skinned knee it won't work......
i would recommed that before you lighten your hair, that you talk
to a hair stylist. he/she can give you some advise as to how to lighten your hair....that way you get professional information.......
it's my guess that you aren't very old. most people know thru
experience that there is another kind of peroxide that is to be
used only on the hair. so like i said before, obtain professional advice.............good luck honey

Hydro peroxide doesn't work on hair. You need to go to a beauty shop to get hair peroxide.

That is wicked gonna dry out your hair, I would use something more like professional. Or go to a saloon.

peroxide will damege ur hair because its a stronge chemical...u should use sumthing with less strenth ...or go 2 a salon they kno what they doing

Dont use peroxide!! it turns your hair orange!

i tryed that do and it diddnt do nothing, it jus dried out my hair really bad, you should go to the store and get some sun in you can get it at walmart, or walgreens, you put it in your hair when you go outside and it naturally lightens your hair using the sun. i like it. :-)
