Nice idea.
Essentially the new testament is an amendment to the old. So it stands to reason that the new testament should be subject to the same.

Firstly, you obtain the written consent of the Author.
Secondly, you have a Council convened ... a council which is at least as widely representative of the Churches as was the Council of Nicea.
OR, you might try actually finding out what the Bible says about you and then so something about that rather than wanting to re-write or amend the Bible!!

A state faith seems not undemanding to tug off. i think of this is obvious that there won't be able to be a faith for the full U.S. For states... i don't comprehend. those days, almost each dispute is hurtling for the time of the doorways of federal courtrooms, incredibly of permitting the guy states to dictate their own little sub-rules. If one state is so predominantly Christian that it needs to be a Christian state, then i think i'm able to work out why human beings could choose that. I advise, it in simple terms takes one million very incredibly indignant, indignant person to destroy a lot of folk's happiness via asserting that a pass in a public place is offensive or that their infants should not be subjected to the atrocities of what's in any different case suitable and incredibly cultural American traditions like Christmas decorations at college. there is all this nonsensical controversy to the degree that many Christians sense like they are being attacked and are incredibly dropping because of the fact they are maximum persons, not any opposite direction around. individually, i could say that Christians, nevertheless populous, are unquestionably the butt of extra insults and those compelled to renounce on extra stands for cultural id and expression than the different team in usa. in simple terms because of the fact they're a majority would not make it trustworthy for them to be silenced. it form of appears like maximum different communities get a loose bypass to make complaints, whether ludicrous, and win in simple terms because of the fact they're a minority. If there is atheists or Jews or Buddhists or despite, there is not any reason to renounce them from making public reflects the two. So, in some infuriation and exasperation, i'm able to comprehend the way some (not all) Christians might make a bid for securing a number of their classic techniques of expression and practices that have at the instant been denied (yet in no way were earlier, all the some time past to the break of day of the rustic), whether meaning attempting to examine a state faith. i'm able to appreciate and relate to the perspective. whether, thinking the long term outcomes and opportunities of states by surprise assuming customary religious affiliations- i don't think of it can be a sturdy thought. The "united" states might grow to be the "disjointed" states.

Easy. Publish your own version, amended as you see fit. Do start with a version that is out of copyright. If your amendments meet with popular approval, the royalties will make you rich.

You can't, it's done and finished. Deuteronomy 4:2 says this: "Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish aught from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you."
If you were to try and take something away from, or add something to the Bible, Revelation 22:18-19 says this: "For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book. And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book."
So, now that you know what the penalty is for adding or subtracting from the Bible, what would you want to have your eternal reward be?

All Scripture comes from God (2 Tim 3:16). If you want to make changes, talk to Him.
Good luke, the NT hasn't changed in 2000 years. The OT in 2500 to 3000 years.

lets get it - why do you need to change the bible. take it from there and work towards peace, love etc. changing it now would create more dissension. more fighting and poor Jesus will sigh in heaven - he gave us a religion and look at what we did to his words. we kill using his religion. or for that matter, other messiahs too. Muhamad didnt say kill and they are doing it in his name! geeee! man gotta wake up, man!
