There is NO self treatment for ADD or ADHD. It's a chemical imbalance in the brain. See your doctor, get tested, if you've got it they can help.

Do not try self diagnosis. Please consult a physician and then a neurologist if required.
Try to train yourself by spending time focussing on a particular thing....it may be difficult but with practice you will develop control.
There are many who take Ritalin but then let the doctor prescribe it. Also, be aware that no medication will cure attention deficiency completely since much of the cause is unknown and genetic.

i have wondered if i have had it.
i dont like to read, and dont like tv.
its almost torturous to sit in a chair and just watch and not be active.
is your mind going a mile a minute all the time?
maybe look up the 'elimination diet' on yahoo and see if maybe smoething food-related could be your problem. you might be surprised at how simple the solution might be!
also, your body changes every 7 years, so age 21 is a very iffy time. i remember feeling funky from age 16-23.

Add, Adhd, A blah, blah, blah. Get a hobby. Get a job. When you tire yourself out, you'll be able to sit still. Trust me.
