Wow. Life is really tough sometimes, and it's not like we have any control of the things that go on around us. You should reach out to someone close - another family member, or perhaps a teacher. You have so much turmoil, it's hard to get a grip unless you have something to ground you. I suggest speaking wiht a councillor. Insomnia makes everything worse, as it's hard to think rationally if you arent' rested. Speaking to someone will help you vent your feelings of helplessness, and sleep will come easier. God never gives you more than you are equipped to deal with. Remember that.

Go to the following website and do something about what it tells you to do.
You will never look back again in your life, if you take advantage of this wonderful, most incredible blessing:
www.lds.org
Then select the bottom option in the blue section on the left, and fill in the details as you wish
You will not believe the possibilities til you investigate

I am sorry you are going thru all this. To get this to go in another direction is speak to a professional. Let them know what you are feeling and I am sure they can give you advise to deal with this and help you thru this pain. I am sorry about all this and I hope you can take 1 day at a time and get help to cope with it all. Good luck.

set your mind on positive events and things that are going on around you stay busy. if this doesn't help talk to a counselor or a good friend that you can trust. i'm sorry about your brother. just remember its never as bad as it seems it could always be worse.

what you need to do is start over. never forget or regret what happened in the past, but you have to learn that if you don't start over now its gonna be harder to do it later. you might not understand why now, but trust me...before you go to bed think of all the happiest memories you can think of, even if they are small..this might sound stupid, but do it. the tomorrow morning, no matter how bad you dont want to get out of bed, no matter how slow moving you feel, get out of bed and put a smile on your face.

all i can say is that life is like that. you can not control it, but you can save yourself. i am talking from my own experience. someone killed my brother right infront of my eyes, and i am living with it. i was depressed for years, until i came to understand that life is not under our control. people come and go in our lives, they leave memories that is all. my advice to you is try to move yourself away from bring depressed. try to envolve yourself in an activity. don't stay at home being depressed. go outside with friends and try to forget what happened to you.

What is preventing you from accepting life as it is? And would that not solve everything? It's up to you.
