I can't believe how rude she was being. I was trying to sip my tea and read my book on Oliver Cromwell and then she comes over and starts taking off her clothes and doing some lap dance. How ridiculous was that? This isn't the first time she has done things like this. I was eating biscuits the day before and she did it and the day before that I was polishing my shoes. In fact while I was taking a shower this morning, she walked in on me! How rude is that?! I love my girlfriend very much and she is such a pretty lady and very sweet, but sometimes she can be like this. How can I get her to stop this unbecoming behavior without being boorish?

She sounds like the girlfriend of every man's dreams! But if you are a more private person and you need to distance yourself from the animal sex that is going on, you need to tell her that you don't want to perform your manly duties and that you need some space. Some women (and men) want sex every day and others don't . Just tell her the truth about how you feel in a respectful way. Like, "You're a gorgeous woman and very sexy and appealing, but I am more conservative and need private time." Then go on to explain when those private times are that she should not bother you, such as "Please do not come into the bathroom when I am in there. It embarasses me! When I am reading, please do not seduce me. I really love you and hope that we can have mutual respect and grow our relationship to be more than just sex. I hope you and I can work this out." Maybe you are the kind of guy that has to be the one to initiate sex or you don't want to do it because you need to feel in control or because of your traditional ideals about sex roles. If so then maybe you need a woman who is more the old-fashioned prudish type. And maybe this woman isn't Ms. Right for you. If she doesn't respect your wishes she's not "The One." But how can she respect your wishes if she doesn't know what they are? you have to tell her the truth about how you feel in a gentle and loving manner if you respect yourself and her. I know it will be a difficult conversation but if you want the relationship to last without completely breaking it off now, then I know you can do it. Good luck!

OK, the problem isn't her.....IT'S YOU!!! What is wrong with you!? The only thing your girlfreind is doing is showing you affection, and you're ignoring her as though she doesn't mean squat to you. Mister, if I had a girlfriend who did that for me, I would be all over her like a bee on honey. What I VERY STRONGLY recommend you do is go to her RIGHT NOW, and show her you love her. Also, whatever you do, keep the lines of communication as open as possible.

Dude, Stop what your doing and do her. Thats what she wants and remember...you'll miss it when she no longer wants it. The book, the tea, the biscuits, and the shower will always be there. She may not. DUH!
