There is no strong proof that a woman was sent as a prophet. But some women in religion's history have been considered highly respectible, such as:
1. Asia (Pharoah’s wife),
2. Hawaa (Eve, Prophet Adam’s wife),
3. Sarah (Prophet Ibrahim’s wife),
4. Yuhanz (Prophet Moses’ mother),
5. Maryam (Mary, Jesus's mother),
6. Khadija (Prophet Muhammad's first wife).
7. Fatima (Prophet Muhammad's daughter)
My religion (Islam) doesn't deny the chance of existence of a female prophet, but there is no mention of it. Also, there is no conclusive evidence from the Qur'an to prove that only men were sent as prophets.

Though Islam doesn''t talk about any female prophets, (And that means that there is a strong probablity that there could exist or could not exist) I don't think there could be female prophets because in the ancient times, women were looked down upon. They were regarded as something equal to a brailess with and were required to stay at home, cook and take care of the kids. If a women claimed divinity, many people wouldn't have been impressed. They might say that she is possessed by the demon, is a witch or has just plainly gone mad. These are the reasons why I think that there couldn't be any Female prophets
ps. women make up more than 50% of world's population

Miriam, Deborah, Huldah, Noadiah, and Anna are among the named ones. Some would add Abraham's wife Sarah, David's wife Abigail and Queen Esther of Persia, who saved her people from a plot by the evil prime minister Haman.
Miriam was Moses' sister and composed the victory song after Pharoah's army was defeated. Deborah ordered Barak to lead the Israelites into battle against Sisera. Huldah was consulted after King Josiah's priest, Hilkiah, discovered the lost book of the Law. Noadiah tried to keep Nehemiah from rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem (can't ALL be good). Anna prophesied about Jesus at his presentation in the Temple.
There were many more prophets than those recorded in the Bible. (Some in the Bible weren't even named.) Women are often overlooked in the Bible, as in most patriarchal cultures. So the fact that they appear at all is an accomplishment that suggests they were more prevalent than the record indicates.

Scriptureman says: Here's five
Exo 15:20 And Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a timbrel in her hand; and all the women went out after her with timbrels and with dances.
Jdg 4:4 And Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lapidoth, she judged Israel at that time.
2Ki 22:14 So Hilkiah the priest, and Ahikam, and Achbor, and Shaphan, and Asahiah, went unto Huldah the prophetess, the wife of Shallum the son of Tikvah, the son of Harhas, keeper of the wardrobe; (now she dwelt in Jerusalem in the college;) and they communed with her.
Neh 6:14 My God, think thou upon Tobiah and Sanballat according to these their works, and on the prophetess Noadiah, and the rest of the prophets, that would have put me in fear.
Luk 2:36 And there was one Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Asher: she was of a great age, and had lived with a husband seven years from her virginity.

There were no female prophets but the young wife Aisha (ra') was the most credible source of narration for hadith and hence very important for muslims, but not as a prophet.

There was Deborah. She was really cool. Her nemesis was Jezebel, who was perverted and nasty, and eventually fell out of a fifth-story window and her body was eaten by her faithful dogs.
Anyway the Prophet Deborah wrote many wise treatises, and I forget what else.
