I've known this girl for a little more than a year and we have been really close friends. I have told her all of my darkest and deepest secrets and from what I know i beleive she has told me hers as well. We ran track together most of the same races. I talk too her whenever I get a chance after class after school I even go to her moms store and talk to her. Most of the time when we talk on the phone She calls me and we talk for hours. I have asked her out twice the first time she said I don't know not right now and the second time she said I'll think about it. I asked her later if she actually thought about it or just didn't want to hurt my feelings but she said she actually did. I wrote her poems that she liked and all that stuff. I told her That I loved her on the phone once and she broke up with her boyfriend 2 or 3 days later. I really like this girl but I don't know what to do. Should I settle being her friend or should I ask her out a third time?

Tell her how u feel - be honest. You anyway do not have her at the moment. What could u stand to lose if u told her?

awww, poor guy. It seems like she really just wants to be friends, and I wouldn't risk that awesome relationship you guys have. Sure, its great to go out with someone you really like, but once you break up, its over-forever. I'd suggest just being close friends, she knows how you feel about her and if she feels the same way, she'll make a move.

You can lead a heart to love but you cant make it fall. Sorry but thats life, and i kno how you feel cuz i've been through something like that before and i nearly died. you can still try, but there is a point when she might start getting annoyed.
